The Gemlik olives (PDO) we use are single origin and single varietal. Our Everyday EVOO olives come from Mudanya, Türkiye in the Gemlik olive PDO region. They are hand-picked to select for ripeness prior to being cold-pressed into Nicea extra virgin olive oil.
Our Everyday EVOO has a delicate, nutty taste. Our Everyday EVOO has the highest polyphenol count leading to a stronger bitter and peppery component and a higher presence of heart-healthy oleocanthal. It has the aroma of fresh olives. Our Everyday EVOO can be used for cooking, baking, and dishes where you desire a minor contribution of olive oil to the flavor palette.
